We encourage our students to take their sexual lives seriously and if they are sexually active, to do so in an informed and safe way. Below you will find a few resources for Science-Based, healthy practices.

At the end of the day, as Christians, we are called to love our neighbors as ourselves. This means that love, care, and compassion should be the guiding principles of our education about sex. There are plenty of peer-reviewed scientific studies on the harm abstinence-only education causes. We can and do encourage students to wait, especially if their only reasons are selfish or in pursuit of cultural standards. If they are not going to wait, then they should have a healthy understanding of safe practices, genuine consent, and that their safety and the safety of their partners are essential.
